Praise God that the gift of His son doesn't compare to the weight of our sins and the filth that we have to shamefully take ownership of! Our righteousness comes from Christ's selfless act. That's it. There is no other reason besides God's mercy and great love for us that he chooses to make us holy through Christ.
We can't do it.
And honestly, I am so thankful that I don't have to do it on my own... because I know the one who can overcome.
